Desktop Appraisals
A "desktop" appraisal is an evaluation that does not benefit from an inspection of the asset(s). AccuVal will conduct a desktop appraisal of machinery and inventory when there is sufficient information to provide the customer with credible feedback. |

Key information and specific conditions are needed to provide a desktop appraisal:
- The asset(s) must be standard in nature
- Detailed information about the asset(s) must be available
- There must be a defined market for the asset(s)
- The condition of the asset(s) must be known or assumed
AccuVal frequently requests the following information to aid in preparing a quote:
Machinery (personal property)
- List of the machinery (personal property) to be appraised
- List of sites where the machinery (personal property) is located and the type(s) of operations ongoing at each location
- Copies of past appraisals
Inventory
- Copy of a detailed/perpetual inventory listing
- List of the raw materials and work-in-process inventories
- Copy of the turnover report (when available)
- List of sites where the inventory is located and a description of inventory on-site
- Description of the inventory management system(s)
- Copies of past appraisals
