 As senior vice president of sales, Richard Ferron is responsible for managing the company's business development activities. Mr. Ferron is a multidiscipline appraiser who has directed appraisal projects and liquidations for enterprises worldwide, including Fortune 100 companies. With more than 20 years in the appraisal and auction business, he offers significant breadth of expertise across a broad number of manufacturing industries.
Mr. Ferron joined AccuVal as a vice president in 1988. In 2000, he assumed a leadership position with DoveBid Valuation Services, Inc. (DVS) following the acquisition of AccuVal by DoveBid, Inc. As vice president at DVS, Mr. Ferron was responsible for machinery appraisals throughout North America. He was named senior vice president at AccuVal following the March 2003 reacquisition of the company by its original founders. His appraisal career began in 1985 as vice president with predecessor firms The Gronik Company, Incorporated and David S. Gronik & Co., Inc.
Mr. Ferron is an accredited senior member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), a licensed certified general appraiser and equipment appraiser, licensed real estate broker and nationally licensed auctioneer. Other professional affiliations and memberships include The Appraisal Institute, Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA) and Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA). He has provided expert testimony in the federal bankruptcy and civil court systems on a variety of valuation issues. Mr. Ferron received undergraduate training in business administration at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. |
