 Mark Gould is vice president of the corporate services practice group at AccuVal, responsible for business valuations. With over 20 years in the appraisal business, he offers significant breadth of expertise across a broad range of industries and asset valuation roles. Mr. Gould has directed appraisal projects and business valuations for major publicly traded and privately held companies throughout the world.
A seasoned industry veteran, he is considered an expert in both the business valuation and intangible asset appraisal field. He specializes in complex and highly-technical valuations involving valuations performed for financial reporting purposes, fairness/solvency opinions, estate/gift planning, intellectual property/intangible valuations, recapitalizations (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures), SEC and IRS compliance work, bankruptcies, and other specialty appraisals such as blockage studies, stock option/warrant analyses, etc.
Mr. Gould is a member of the American Society of Appraisers and the Appraisal Issues Task Force. He is an active participant and presenter at meetings of the National Knowledge and Intellectual Property Management Taskforce. In addition, he has testified to the SEC.
Mr. Gould received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin. |
