 Katherine Walls manages human resources and employee relations at AccuVal. She oversees the development and administration of personnel programs and policies relative to recruitment and retention, performance management, health insurance, benefits, and compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws. She is also responsible for the analysis and execution of operations initiatives that improve the overall performance and profitability of the company.
Ms. Walls previously coordinated special projects and integration initiatives as assistant to the president and COO of DoveBid Valuation Services, Inc. She was named director of human resources at AccuVal in March 2003 when the firm was reacquired by its original founders from DoveBid, Inc. Previously, Ms. Walls worked as a page for the Wisconsin Senate at the state capitol in Madison. Her educational background includes a college home stay in Japan and studies at the University of Warwick business school in England. She earned a B.B.A. in management and human resources with a specialization in international business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |
