 As a business development agent, James Moran is responsible for expanding relationships in Canada and Michigan. He joins AccuVal with extensive experience in commercial banking and corporate finance.
Mr. Moran began his career in England where he commenced working for the Yorkshire Bank and served at a number of branches in the Leeds area. This training provided an excellent base for his next move-to Canada and The Toronto Dominion Bank,where he also attained Fellowship of the Institute of Canadian Bankers. Over the subsequent years with both Toronto Dominion, Central Guaranty Trust and Manulife Bank, he had the opportunity to participate in many different facets of the banking industry, including branch management, commercial and real estate lending, credit supervision and Special Loans responsibilities.
Most recently, Mr. Moran assumed the position of Vice President Finance/Administration for a rapidly growing group of distribution companies. This enabled him to experience business from the “non Banker” perspective and gain a more direct understanding of the complexities involved in running a business. This multi-faceted experience helps Mr. Moran better understand and respond to clients' needs. |
