 Gene K. Arenson has 17 years of experience in the commercial and industrial appraisal industry. Currently, he heads the machinery & equipment practice nationwide as vice president. Mr. Arenson has directed hundreds of machinery and equipment appraisals across a wide range of industries. He joined AccuVal in 1997 and was named senior associate and manager with DoveBid Valuation Services, Inc. (DVS) following the 2000 acquisition of AccuVal by DoveBid, Inc. Mr. Arenson was responsible for assisting in operations of DVS' global headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and served as project manager for major syndicated transactions worldwide. He was named senior manager with AccuVal in March 2003 following the repurchase of the firm by its original founders. Gene now heads the machinery & equipment practice nationwide as vice president.
Mr. Arenson began his career as an appraiser and consultant with American Appraisal Associates, and a vice president with Valuation Resource Management, Inc. He is a candidate member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and is qualified as an expert witness for the United States Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Arenson attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he majored in economics.
