A 20-year industry veteran in commercial and industrial machinery and real estate valuation, Rick Wilichowski heads AccuVal's Machinery & Equipment Valuation practice. Previous to this role, he has led both the Machinery & Equipment Valuation practice that served asset-based lenders as well as the team that served corporate services clients, including tax, financial reporting and litigation support. Now combined, AccuVal's Machinery & Equipment Valuation cross-discipline team boasts appraisers from coast-to-coast and its North American operations are overseen by Mr. Wilichowski.

Mr. Wilichowski began his career at AccuVal in 1991. Over the years, he honed his expertise in both machinery and commercial and industrial real estate valuation. He managed complex projects throughout North America and also gained expertise helping to execute auctions and orderly liquidations for sister company, LiquiTec Industries.

Beginning in 2000, Mr. Wilichowski worked as senior manager at an international appraisal and asset disposition company following the company's acquisition of AccuVal. As a member of the management team, he led major syndicated transactions on behalf of customers worldwide. He was named vice president at AccuVal following the 2003 repurchase of the firm by its original founders.

Mr. Wilichowski has completed the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) coursework. He earned bachelor's degrees in real estate and marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
